Thanksgiving ends and we await the joy of Christmas.
Unfortunately, it is too easy to get caught in the shopping of
Christmas and miss the quiet anticipation of the promised Savior, Jesus
Christ our Lord. Jeremiah foretold what we know - God sent His Son to
redeem us. As we begin our preparations for Christmas, let us not
forget to still live with that anticipation of the coming of Christ,
anew in our hearts, with fire in the world, and in the final days when
we may join Him in the new creation. Come Emmanuel!
